Update: I switched back to CSpire from Verizon and have five bars of service so MAYBE I can hotspot at my house. Argued with AT&T and xfinity today to no avail.

We’ll see. I don’t have high hopes. Shout out to CSpire because without their network, I wouldn’t be able to hotspot and attend all the zoom meetings. Would love their fiber but I bet that won’t happen until all the roadwork is done near my place.

@bascott2010 #ATT can fix a problem without ever sending a technician. I’m not sure if Comcast or Cspire have a strong remote tech division in their residential internet...so I can’t say if they’re garbage or not...but on Saturday and Sunday ATT has been able to help.

In the meantime, I switched cell phone carriers to CSpire so I have better service. I got their “unlimited plan” so I can hot spot to my laptop and Apple TV (mind you, I’m studying for the February bar exam and my course is ENTIRELY online).

@THE1DAW Another solution would be like what I noticed OM did (at their regional in '21)...they have CSpire bring in a big truck w/ a mobile cell tower just for the day/weekend. I bet a lot of schools do the same at a lot of athletic events. No telling how much $ that costs.
